Use your personal experience, either as a service user, parent or carer, to help shape the future of what is available for people with intellectual disability and mental illness in South Africa. Becoming a voice is a unique and powerful way to create choice and opportunity for those who have little say right now in how their lives are lived.
We are interested to hear from you, and hear your story. We’re keen to join up voices around the country, so that we can clearly and accurately articulate a collective journey. We will also better be able to work to remove any personal barriers that may have challenged you and your families in your lives so far.
You may want to remain anonymous, or may be in a position to leverage your personal standing to publicly make a difference. We welcome one and all – together we are stronger.
